Will Yo' Come O' Sunday Mornin'?
The Winter Hill Mass Trespass of 1896
by Paul Salveson

This is a new edition of Paul's booklet on one of the biggest rights of way battles in British history. Over 10,000 Boltonians marched across Winter Hill over three successive Sundays to reclaim a right of way. They were led by local socialists and radicals such as Joe Shufflebotham and Solomon Partington.

This fascinating account has long been out of print and the new edition contains new material. It will be launched on September 6th with a celebratory walk over Winter Hill followed by a talk in Smithills Hall, Bolton - the seat of the former landowner of Winter Hill, Colonel Richard Ainsworth. More details later.
